App name: InstaViewSafe
iPhone, iPad setup
1. Download the "Instaviewsafe" app from the Apple App Store
2. Register an account in the app
3. Add the doorbell camera to your account.
Give it a name (e.g. Front Door),
Enter your router password key which is on your router and click "Add Device"
Keep your phone NEAR the doorbell during this process.
Use your router's 2.4 GHZ Wi-Fi name during set up, which has a larger bandwidth than 5 GHZ Wi-Fi, but either one works.
Tap "Join" on the pop-up box, not "Cancel".
If you tap "Cancel", you'll see screens 4 and 5, as shown below. Get rid of the 2 pop-ups, then tap "Add device" to continue the setup.
(There will be a Wi-Fi network named Instaview in your Wifi list before the setup. To access available Wifi networks, go to Wifi in your device settings. If it's not there, the doorbell needs to be reset. After you reset the doorbell, restart the setup process.)
Wait for the doorbell to connect to the cloud server via your router. After you see the screen below, the setup is complete. Tap "Live View" to see your front door scene.
If you tap "Add device" more than once and receive error pop-up messages, check the Wi-Fi list in the "Settings" menu of your phone to see if "InstaView" is there. If "Instaview" is there, then don't reset the doorbell; if not, then unlock the screw on the bottom of the doorbell and reset it using the included pin. Punch in the small hole using the pin and hold for 5 seconds before releasing it. The doorbell will say "Firmware reset is in process". Afterwards, repeat the setup process.
We will add a "Waiting" screen to remind that you shouldn't press "Add device" twice when your network speed is very slow.
If your phone is far away from the doorbell, you might see the message below. Remove the bottom screw and reset the doorbell. Start the setup process over again.
